Here's What We Did
We teamed up with Matt Armstrong by sending him one of our Custom Wheel Finesse Steering Wheel Wrap Kits to help revamp the interior of his crash-damaged BMW 1 Series build.
For this project, he chose a Full Alcantara Finish, paired with a Black 12 o’clock marker and contrast yellow stitching, a combination that adds a subtle motorsport-inspired look while keeping the interior Clean and Premium.
Mat installed the cover himself using our self-stitch method, taking the wheel from worn and tired to a much more refined, high-end finish. And to be fair, he didn’t do a bad job at all!
The result is a steering wheel that looks and feels far closer to a factory-upgraded or re trimmed wheel, showing exactly what’s possible with the right kit and a bit of patience.
